Year 12 Modelling Skills
The group worked in pairs to create working models of collapsible chairs and tables today. The focus of this lesson was to improve their modelling skills and to get them thinking about complex ideas with working parts in challenges and not just to play it safe.
Some were more successful than others, but all agreed it was a worthwhile experience.

Brainstorming Ideas
Here are some year 11 pupils working in groups to generate ideas.
A dozen ideas are created in only 10 minutes - they were surprised at how much fun it was and how many ideas they could produce.
Helping Harry come up with ideas for a new bike mounted speaker.
Hard at work producing ideas for Kira's product - a device to help her grandad pour a cup of tea.
